The past few weeks I’ve plunged head first into the bizarre (to me) world of riding bikes on the road, reporting for VeloNews on the spring classics. The month or so of work I’ve done has been a major education in a sport that is simultaneously very similar and very, very different from my usual cyclocross beat.
